LATEST UPDATE: Behold the power of the donut hole. For it works wondeful magic to coax Abby to eat! She also ate some chicken for dinner. She's doing better this evening.
Earlier update:
Last night was not a fun night, but once we got settled in, we all slept albeit fitfully. Todd and I worried all night when we couldn't hear Abby's labored breathing.
Went to the vet today, and he is happy with the progress. She is not puking since yesterday afternoon, and the other end is better too. Her red blood count is steady, so that is a huge relief. We adjusted her meds and changed some meds, so hoping she gets better in the next day or two.
Right now, she's not eating. She is drinking water, so that's good. Her hydration level is good. She's just got to get an appetite. I'm picking up donuts on my way home from work this afternoon. It worked last time. Fingers crossed she will like them.
